Can I book my car booking space in person?

Car bookings can only be booked online. NO bookings can be made in person, via email or telephone.

How do I pay for my car space?

All car bookings will need to be paid in full at the time of booking on the online system with a credit card. Cash and bank transfers will not be accepted.

Can I pre-book my car space?

Priority bookings will be available prior to the online system opening. Please note a ‘priority booking surcharge’ will apply to all cars pre-booking on this system.

What if I have more than 10 spaces to book in my group car booking?

There is a maximum booking of 10 car spaces in any one booking. However there is no limit on the number of spaces you book as long as you reserve them up to 10 car space increments at a time in the same Zone. You will need to access the booking system multiple times to create multiple bookings to reach the number required for your Group or Club.

Can I reserve the same space as last year?

Car spaces cannot be reserved for returning clients. To increase your chances of getting the spot you want, you can try to pre-book in the Priority bookings.

If this is not possible, make sure you have signed up to be on our car database so that you get all emails regarding when the online booking system is open. Once the booking system opens, ensure to jump online as soon as possible to reserve your space as car spaces sell out fast.

Does my car have to be registered to enter?

We don’t require that your car be registered for the display, but you will need to adhere to local legislation in respect to getting your car to and from Coolangatta.

How do I get to my car spot?

An email will be sent out in May 2017 to all confirmed car bookings with detailed instructions and maps on how to access your Zone.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, you will need to bring your printed ticket to the event in order to pick up your Car Pack. Information will be sent out in May with details and dates of when and how you can pick up your Car Pack.

Do I need my make and model and registration number at time of booking?

You will need to have the make and model for each car at the time of booking, and these details will need to be entered into the space provided in the booking section.  If you do not have the registration number for each individual car at the time of booking, please select the ‘I don’t have my registration number’ option in the drop down menu. You will be able to complete the booking without the registration details, however you will need to complete this information prior to the festival. The deadline for inputting the information will be by Wednesday 31 May 2017.

If your car will not be registered please select the option from the drop down menu and leave the registration number space blank.

What's the refund policy?

We do not refund tickets.  You are able however to transfer the ticket to another holder. Please see below information for transferring tickets.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes you can easily transfer your ticket to another holder.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes you can update your registration at any time by logging back into your account and editing the ticket information. Please see steps above for transferring a ticket.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

You will need to ensure that the make, model and registration are correct on the ticket when collecting your Car Pack. You are able to go in at any time and update the ticket prior to the festival (please see above on how to transfer information).

The first artist announcements can be viewed under the Artists tab. The full festival program will be released by the end of March, 2017.

Where can I buy Merchandise? And what are this year’s designs?

All merchandise will be available for sale online prior to the festival. You will soon be able to visit our Shop page to browse this year’s designs and purchase your Cooly Rocks On™ 2017 merchandise.

Can I Park ‘N Ride to this year’s event?

Yes – park and ride maps will be on the website soon.
