The wait is over, the artist lineup for Cooly Rocks On 2023 has just been announced!
Returning to the iconic precinct of Coolangatta from 7-11 June 2023, this year’s lineup features a massive selection of international and national artists from around the world. With a mash of rockabilly, swing, and rock ‘n’ roll, the music will be flowin’ and the feet will be tappin’ throughout the action-packed five day festival.

The Go Getters (SWE)
Arguably one of the biggest rockabilly bands in the world, The Go Getters was formed 35 years ago amidst the frozen badlands of Västerås, Sweden. Led by standup drummer and chief songwriter Peter Sandberg on lead vocals, The Go Getters is sure to have the dance floor rockin’ with their unique mix of blues, rockabilly and country!
LUCKY SEVEN
Two for one! Adelaide’s hottest seven-piece 50s swing, rhythm and roots group Lucky Seven will help set the mood at the Cooly Rocks On Moonlight Swing Dance, as well as channelling the original rock ‘n’ roll genius of the legendary Bill Haley with their outfit The Lucky Comets: The Sounds of Bill Haley.
Johnny Pandora (JPN)
Joining Cooly Rocks On for the first time ever and coming all the way from Japan, Johnny Pandora has been breaking hearts on the rock ‘n’ roll and rockabilly scene since he was 19 years old. Performing nearly 200 shows a year around the world, the multi-talented singer, bassist, guitarist and dancer is sure to wow audiences in Coolangatta.
BOOM! BOOM! DELUXE (NZ)
With two acclaimed albums and a non-stop touring schedule, BOOM! BOOM! DELUXE have been taking the New Zealand rockabilly and rock ‘n’ roll scenes by storm. Playing a mix of authentic 1950s and 60s classics laced with clever re-workings of modern songs in rock ‘n’ roll styles, BOOM! BOOM! DELUXE is known to put on a one-of-a-kind show that just can’t be missed.
The impressive list doesn’t just stop there. Elvis fans will also get their share of the lineup, with international Elvis Tribute Artists Shawn Klush (USA), Jimmy Holmes (USA) and Mark Andrew delivering unmissable feature shows. For lovers of surf culture and classic rock ‘n’ roll car songs, The Australian Beach Boys Show will bring back memories of cruising in coupes and feeling fine in a Chevrolet 409.
