Here is our list of top five activities you can fill your days with to experience all this wonderful destination has to offer.

FROGGy’s BEACH – FOR THE RELAXATION LOVERS

The southern end of the Gold Coast has endless kilometres of beaches for you to take those peaceful morning walks. Coolangatta, Kirra, Rainbow Bay – the list is endless. But if you’re searching for a quiet piece of paradise, we recommend checking out Froggy’s Beach.

Hidden away from the popular Coolangatta strip, there’s a walking track that takes you through Snapper Rocks to this secluded haven. You’ll know you’re in the right spot if you see a bright green frog painted on the side of a rock on the hill!

KIRRA HILL LOOKOUT – FOR THE PERFECT PHOTO

Located in between Kirra Beach and Coolangatta Beach, Kirra Hill Lookout offers stunning, panoramic views with just a short stroll.

Take in the views of the coastline, breathe in the ocean breeze and get a photo with the iconic Iron Eagle sculpture! There’s also undercover picnic tables and a barbeque for a perfect lunch with the ocean as your background.

CURRUMBIN CREEK PADDLE BOARDING – FOR the active travellers

If the ocean waves are not your thing, don’t fret! For calmer waters, head to Currumbin Creek, a serene area that’s perfect for paddle boarding. With plenty of paddle board hires and lessons around the area, give something new a try while enjoying the beautiful waterways of the Gold Coast.

Currumbin wildlife sanctuary – for the animal lovers

A Gold Coast staple, you can get up close and personal with koalas, kangaroos and more at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!

The sanctuary also offers daily lorikeet feedings at 8AM and 4PM, for a gold coin donation and no entry fee required. Come watch as these wild lorikeets gather, feed straight from your hands, or take a rest on your head and shoulders.

YOUR CHOICE OF GOLF COURSES – FOR THE SPORT LOVERS

With plenty of golf courses to choose from throughout the Gold Coast, Tallebudgera offers a choice of three courses within a few minutes drive of each other!

With Meadow Park, Coplicks Tallebudgera Golf Course and Talley Valley Golf Course all open to the public, come enjoy a hit in the comfortable Gold Coast winter.
