2025 ROAD CLOSURES
To maintain public safety, vehicle movement within the festival precinct will be limited to overnight over the weekend of the festival.
Road closures will be in place from Friday 6 June 10:00pm to Sunday 8 June 11:59pm.
Road closures do not apply overnight between midnight and 5:30am. Deliveries and the charging of electric vehicles on Marine Parade will only be facilitated during this time period.
Access to Marine Parade through Warner Street, via Lanham Street or Scott Street.

- Griffith Street from Warner Street to Stuart Street
- Dutton Street from Marine Parade to Griffith Street
- Warner Street from Marine Parade to The Strand Car Park Entry/Exit
- McDonald Street from Marine Parade to Dixon Street
- Clarke Street from Marine Parade to Griffith St
Limited/Local Access to the following roads:
- Dixon Street from Griffith Street to Bay Street
- Chalk Street from McLean Street to Warner Street
- Warner Street from Lanham Street to The Strand Car Park Entry/Exit
Please note: Access to the car parks for ‘Reflections on the Sea’ and ‘Reflections Coolangatta Beach’ will remain accessible via the Griffith Street/Wharf Street roundabout, apart from 6:00pm – 7:00pm on Saturday 8 June 2024, when the Saturday Night Car Cruise is occurring.
ACCESS PASSES & PARKING PERMITS
Local residents, businesses and hotel customers impacted by the road closures are invited to apply for one of the following passes/permits no later than Friday 23 May 2025:
For employees of businesses on closed roads, including The Strand Shopping Centre and staff/resort guests/residents of Sanbano Apartments, Ocean Plaza Resort, and Points North Apartments, This grants access into the Local Access Roads for accessing parking nearby. Please note that historically the Strand Shopping Centre Car Park is extremely busy and we encourage the use of public transport where possible.

DELIVERIES
To maintain public safety, vehicle movement within the festival precinct will be limited. Access for vehicles including deliveries, electric vehicle charging, and hotel guests will be restricted during the scheduled road closure times and delivery vehicles will be required to seek alternative drop-off locations.
Vehicles will be allowed to access the festival precinct during the following times from the following locations:
Saturday 8 June:
12:01AM – 8AM & 8PM – 11:59PM: Warner Street (via Scott Street and Lanham Street) and Griffith Street (via Wharf Street)
12:01AM – 6AM & 8PM – 11:59PM: Marine Parade Electric Vehicle Charging Station Only (cnr McLean Street and Marine Parade)
12:01AM – 8:00AM & from 8PM: Warner Street (via Scott Street and Lanham Street) and Griffith Street (via Wharf Street)
12:01AM – 6AM & 8PM – 11:59PM: Marine Parade Electric Vehicle Charging Station Only (cnr McLean Street and Marine Parade)
Please ensure to notify your suppliers of the changed traffic conditions prior to the festival.
*We advise that local Council By-Laws are still in force during this period of the Festival. Please comply with all Council signage.
