Celebrate the motors, music, and lifestyle of yesteryear at one of Australia’s largest nostalgia festivals. Cooly Rocks On attracts thousands of visitors for the annual pilgrimage of eras gone by and provides the perfect opportunity to show off your prized possession!
The 2024 Show ‘N’ Shine is open to vehicles manufactured prior to and including 1979, including classic cars, hot rods, and more. The incredible display will span seven (7) zones and showcase over 900 cars throughout the beautiful Coolangatta precinct.
Free to spectate, Show ‘N’ Shine will have two display options:
1. Early Bird Show ‘N’ Shine on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 June
2. Weekend Show ‘N’ Shine on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June
Weekend Show ‘N’ Shine tickets are $80 plus booking fee ($84.40) and include an entrant pack and access to exclusive Show ‘N’ Shine entrant merchandise.
Early Bird Show ‘N’ Shine tickets are $50 plus booking fee ($53.80).
Please note that all Show ‘N’ Shine tickets must be secured online through Oztix. No bookings can be made in person, via email or by telephone.

IMPORTANT AUSTRALIAN STREET ROD FEDERATION (ASRF) UPDATE
Due to changes within the ASRF Insurance Policy, Travel Concessions can now only be provided to applicants for single day events and therefore Cooly Rocks On is unable to receive a sanction, as we have done the past couple of years.
All ASRF Members wishing to enter the Cooly Rocks On Show ‘N’ Shine and other motor events associated with Cooly Rocks On will need to list their attendance on the ASRF QLD Impromptu Facebook Page.
Early Bird Show ‘N’ Shine
The Early Bird Show ’N’ Shine is an exclusive zone for cars that arrive on the Thursday and Friday of the festival at the Greenmount Car Park. This is an opportunity for those die-hard car enthusiasts who are eager to start their engines early to secure a guaranteed spot across the two days to showcase their vehicle front and centre to festival fans.
This year, participants will have their vehicles on display between 9am – 2pm. Vehicles will need to park-up in the Early Bird Show ‘N’ Shine Zone between 7am – 8am and will be exited at 2pm.

WEEKEND SHOW ‘N’ SHINE
Arguably the highlight of Cooly Rocks On, the two-day showcase on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival will span across seven zones, covering nearly two kilometres of the festival precinct with over 900 vehicles. From classics, customs, hot rods and more, you’re sure to see it all at Cooly Rocks On.

The 2024 Show ‘N’ Shine will be open to vehicles manufactured prior to and including 1979, featuring classic cars, hot rods, customs and more.
Absolutely not! You don’t need to buy any ticket to come see all the incredible cars that will be on display for Show ‘N’ Shine. Tickets only apply to car owners who wish to enter their car for Show ‘N’ Shine.
The entry fee for the Saturday and Sunday Show ‘N’ Shine is $80 plus booking fee ($84.40) and the Thursday and Friday Early Bird Show ‘N’ Shine is $50 plus booking fee ($53.80).

Show ‘N’ Shine tickets will go on sale at 9AM (AEST) on Thursday 15 February, 2024.
No! Your motor vehicle does not need to be road registered for the Show ‘N’ Shine display. However due to changes within the ASRF Insurance Policy, Travel Concessions can now only be provided to applicants for single day events and therefore Cooly Rocks On is unable to receive a sanction.

Prior to the event you will be sent a Show ‘N’ Shine Entrant manual via email that will detail all information you need to know about Cooly Rocks On including how to access your allocated zone.
Yes! If you need to change the vehicle you are displaying, please email [email protected] with updated details including your name, current registration number and new registration number.
Yes, however in order to be situated next to your friend you will need to arrive to bump in at the same time as spaces will be allocated based on order of entry into the allocated zones. We recommend meeting up prior to arriving at the designated bump in locations.
Show ‘N’ Shine bookings can only be booked online (once on sale). No bookings can be made in person, via email or telephone.

No. When entering your booked zone, vehicles will be allocated parking spaces in a sequence as directed by Show ‘N’ Shine Marshalls, you cannot pick your own space. If you would like to park with your friends or family, please ensure you enter the zone together during the allocated zone entry times as per the Show ‘N’ Shine Entrant Manual.
Yes! You can book up to 8 spaces in a single booking. There is no limit on the number of spaces you book, however you can only reserve up to 8 at a time.
All Show ‘N’ Shine bookings will need to be paid in full at the time of booking on Oztix with a credit card. Cash and bank transfers will not be accepted.

Cooly Rocks On works closely with a variety of Australian car clubs including the Gold Coast Muscle Car Club, Rambler Rebels, Kustoms of Australia, S.C.A.R.A.B, Austin Healey Owners Club of Queensland, Studebaker Car Club of Queensland Inc, Beatniks Koolsville and more. The inclusions of car clubs accounts for approximately 35% of spaces within the 2024 Show ‘N’ Shine, these clubs are strategically placed throughout the festival by the Cooly Rocks On team to create the best festival experience for our attendees.
Cooly Rocks On Show ‘N’ Shine Entrants will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive, limited edition 2024 Entrant t-shirt. The t-shirt can be pre-ordered online when booking your Show ‘N’ Shine ticket or can be purchased from the official merchandise facility at the Festival. Please note, limited stock will be available at the Festival, therefore we recommend pre-ordering your t-shirt online to avoid disappointment. If you wish to purchase your t-shirt at the Festival, you will be required to present your 2024 Show ‘N’ Shine ticket at the official merchandise facility.
